Harlem Fashion Row 15th Anniversary Fashion Show After Party

by

On Tuesday, Sept. 6th 2022, Harlem Fashion Row Harlem’s Fashion Row (HFR) hosted its 15th Anniversary Fashion Show and Style Awards at the General Grant National Memorial in Harlem. This year’s fashion show theme was “Future’s Past,” which showcased fashion’s future fueled by the untold history of countless contributions, sacrifices, and innovations in fashion that inspire HFR to explore groundbreaking collaborations and to elevate black-owned brands.

We had the pleasure to attend the after party event at Jazz Lincoln in the presence of Janet Jackson as she received her Icon of the Year Award. As Janet Jackson approached the stage in her flawless three layer tiered tulle skirt and black cropped jacked the enter room felt her presence and became overwhelmed with euphoria. I was actually one of them and she looked as stunning as ever.  Janet began her speech explaining and asking for forgiveness about her tardiness due to a delayed flight from London and the crowd simply yelled out “We love you Janet“.

Moët Hennessy USA provided the perfect drink of choice for cocktail hour, Chandon Garden Spritz, — providing a delicious balance between sweetness and bitterness with exceptional sparkling wine and bitter-orange liqueur, handcrafted with handpicked and ripe Valencia oranges, herbs and spices.New York City was on 🔥Tuesday Night Harlem Fashion Row @harlemsfashionrow @brandicedaniel  Brandi Daniel is a true example of determination, being focused, staying driven and becoming a phenomenon in your craft.
