The Makeup Show has returned to The BIG Apple after being on hiatus due to the impact of Covid-19 and New Yorkers were thrilled. It felt good to see New York City reaching a sense of normalcy. The Makeup Show is one of the most talked-about beauty shows. On November 6th-7th, we enjoyed a fun and unforgettable two-day experience with loads of educational and shopping opportunities in an intimate setting.

Celebrity makeup artists and industry experts demonstrated tutorial seminars for all attendees. For several years this team of beauty professionals are consistently evolving with some of the best brands from all over the country. This year beauty professionals gave one on one classes on applying makeup, product knowledge on how the future of the makeup industry is enhancing. Stay at home busy moms had tons of questions on finding ways to do quick makeup routines before running errands with the littles ones.

The anticipation to see what’s in store for this year’s festival was all worth the wait. This year’s festival was filled with a variety of fall/summer colors that were breathtaking, lipsticks, eye shadow, foundations, at discounted prices the entire weekend. Professionals were ready to take questions about your skin types or what perfect shade of foundation works best for you. Makeup Forever and Danessa Myricks are now two of my favorite brands after attending this show for several years. I have tried several makeup brands and Makeup Forever Foundation Matte Velvet is my go-to foundation.
