Join Rockefeller Center on the plaza as we welcome the 2022 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree from Queensbury, New York. Donated by the Lebowitz family, the 90-year-old Norway Spruce is 82 feet tall and weighs 14 tons.

The tree arrives November 12 on Center Plaza, where all are invited to enjoy a day filled with live music and kid-friendly activities. After landing at Rockefeller Center, the Christmas Tree will be wrapped in more than 50,000 multi-colored, energy-saving LED lights and crowned with a star covered in 3 million Swarovski crystals.

The live NBC broadcast of the 90th Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place on November 30. After the holidays, the Christmas Tree will be milled into lumber for Habitat for Humanit

Visiting Hours

After November 30th the Tree will be lit daily from 6am-12am. On Christmas Day, the Tree is lit for 24 hours and on New Year’s Eve it is lit from 6am to 9pm.
