FAD Market is excited to announce a monthly residency at Governors Island on the third weekend of the month beginning in June and running until October 2021. Featuring a rotating lineup of over 30 of the city’s best emerging makers, designers, artists, and small businesses each month, browse one-of-a-kind handcrafted jewelry, art, apparel, bath and body care, tableware, home furnishings, and more. The market takes place steps away from Yankee Pier (Brooklyn Ferry) along the tree-lined King Ave; take a short ferry ride and make a day of it!
Lay a blanket on the grass, take in the sweeping views of the Harbor, Lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty, and sample food and drink from independent food trucks and restaurants. View public art installations and visit the local non-profit art and cultural organizations at Nolan Park, or rent a bicycle, relax on a hammock, play at Slide Hill playground, and climb The Hills. Governors Island is one of the best places to visit in the summer. We hope to see you there!
