The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is a world-wide symbol of the holidays in New York City. This annual tree lighting ceremony has been a tradition since 1931, and a live televised tradition since 1951.

The Christmas Tree lighting for the 2023-2024 season will take place on November 29.The Tree will be lit daily from 5am-12am until January 13th at 10:00pm. On Christmas Day, the Tree is lit for 24 hours and on New Year’s Eve it is lit from 5am to 9pm.The Tree will be on view until January 13th..
