The Hip Hop Film Festival’s screening series #WeWatch is taking cinema and music to a different level. They are is kicking off the The Hip Hop Film Festival’s third season and trust us its going to be epic. Here is a listing below. This live movie scoring competition theme is honoring Melvin Van Peeples, the first Black Superhero! 3 contestants will score a 6 minute clip of Sweet Sweetback’s Baaadaaasss Song, using just turnables and mic. Celebrity judges led by Hot 97’s DJ Enuff decide the winner.
